According to the Patient Safety Act SFS 2010:659, the patient safety report must be prepared before the first of March each year.
The patient safety report is a description of the systematic patient safety work that has taken place during the previous year, the measures taken to improve patient safety and the results achieved. The patient safety report must be sufficiently detailed to make it possible to assess how the work of systematically and continuously developing and securing quality has been carried out in the various parts of the operation, and to meet the information needs of external stakeholders.
