We help you get your fire safety under control.
Systematic fire protection (SBA) applies to all organizations, regardless of their size and activities. Everyone has an obligation to work systematically with their fire protection. This means methodically reviewing the need for fire protection, ensuring that it works and that everyone in the organization has the necessary knowledge and materials.
The general council on systematic fire protection work, SRVFS 2004:3, regulates what fire protection work should look like. Systematic fire protection work means planning, training, documenting, checking and following up. According to Chapter 2, Section 2 of the Act (2003:778) on protection against accidents, the owner or licensee of buildings or other facilities shall take the necessary measures to prevent fire and to prevent or limit damage caused by fire. These measures may be of a technical or organizational nature. Measures of a technical nature may include the acquisition of fire-fighting equipment, while measures of an organizational nature may include training and information.
To meet these requirements, systematic and continuous fire protection work should be carried out throughout the life of the building or installation. This means that fire protection should be documented.
